Experts in micro-finance and small-and-medium enterprises from 16 countries are in the Papua New Guinea capital of Port Moresby for a two day training programme.
PNG's Small Business Development Corporation is hosting the 16th Asian Credit Supplementation Institution Confederation programme for the first time.
The theme is creating a favourable environment for innovative credit supplementation institutions in the Asian region.
The National reports that there will be presentations from the Central Bank, Rural Development Bank, National Research Institute, the World Bank and the PNG ADB microfinance project.
