The police in Samoa have found a suspect they believe was responsible for the alleged burning of Samoa Party leader, Su'a Rimoni Ah Chong's, traditional meeting house in Lano village on Savaii island.

Assistant Police Commissioner, Papali'i Li'o Masipa'u, says charges will be laid this weekend against a young man from Lano.

The house was set on fire in August 16th after a court ruling over Su'a's election petition had found the former MP and government minister, Mulitalo Siafausa Vui, guilty of bribery and treating.
