RAMSI police in Solomon Islands investigate raid on prime minister's office

In Solomon Islands, RAMSI Police have begun investigations into the manner in which Police investigators raided the Prime Ministers Office and took off with a fax machine.

RAMSI Police Commander, Will Jamieson says the investigation will look into complaints raised into how the search was carried.

The outcome of the investigation which is to be carried out jointly by the RAMSI Police and the Solomon's police and their findings to be made public next week.

Last Friday, Police investigators took off with a fax machine from the Prime Minister's office believed to be the one used to sent suspended Attorney General Julian Moti's letter of exemption from the Immigration Minister to enter the country without a passport.
