Nauru's Minister of Transport, Kieren Keke, says its newly launched airline is seeking investments from each island served by it.

Mr Keke has been speaking in Majuro to 150 government and business leaders at the official launch of Our Airline.

He had talks with heads of state from the Marshall Islands, Kiribati and Solomon Islands at last week's Pacific Islands Forum in Fiji.

Mr Keke says with the help of the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, a meeting is being held in Majuro next month to bring together central Pacific government officials to begin detailed discussions for joint ownership.

Our Airline is now providing twice-weekly service linking Brisbane, Australia with the Solomon Islands, Nauru, Kiribati and the Marshall Islands.
