The Solomon Islands government has done away with the Prime Minister's Discretionary Fund.
The Prime Minister's Officer has quoted the Deputy Secretary John Saunana as saying there has been no provision for the fund since 2004.
Mr Saunana has told the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation that since the fund has come under a lot of criticism the government has decided to drop it.
