A second Fiji businessman has been charged with inciting people to destroy Nadi International Airport with explosives after the Chaudhry government came into power.

He is the former chairman of the state-owned Fiji Development Bank and former top civil servant, Navitalai Naisoro.

Mr Naisoro is alleged to have incited Josaia Waqabaca, Jioji Bakoso and Savenaca Tomasi to bomb Nadi Airport in 1999.

He pleaded not guilty when he appeared before the Nadi magistrate, Sayed Mukhtar Shah.

Mr Shah has released Mr Naisoro on bail of 600 US dollars, ordered him to surrender his travel documents and report to the Nadi Police Station twice a week.

Last Friday, the sacked managing director of Strategic Air Services Limited and brother of treason convict Josefa Nata, Watisoni Nata, was charged with the same offences.
