Samoa's former Airport Authority manager and MP for Faleata West constituency, Lealailepule Rimoni Aiafi, will answer charges of theft as servant and falsifying accounts in a hearing scheduled to start early next month.
The MP is charged following a police and the audit office investigations some two years ago when Lealailepule was the General Manager of the Airport Authority.
The former Manager of Corporate service at the same government corporation has also been charged as a party to the offence and falsifying accounts.
The MP's case has been adjourned to December 4 to await the arrival of the prosecution's key witness from overseas. Ends
