Samoa former Health boss considers suing government

The former chief executive officer of the Ministry of Health in Samoa, Lolofie Taule'ale'ausumai Dr Eti Enosa, is considering suing the government after he was cleared of any wrong doing during a police investigation.

Lolofie was suspended while the police investigated allegations of abuse of power and the mis-use of public monies against several senior health officers including the former CEO.

Some former senior and junior officers of the Ministry of Health are facing criminal charges and their cases are pending in court.

But the police commissioner, Papali'i Lorenese Neru, said police did not have enough evidence to press criminal charges against Lolofie.
