Fiji police are in the final stages of investigations into the death of a man, Nimilote Verebasaga, in military custody last month.
Police still have not questioned any suspects and are now assessing their options based on all the information gathered so far.
The website fijivillage.com says police have refused to divulge any more information and the cause of Mr Verebasaga's death has still not been made public as it could hinder their investigations.
Mr Verebasaga was taken up to the barracks last month for questioning where he later died.
