Fiji interim Prime Minister plans support for investors

Investors in major ventures in Fiji such as the multi million dollar Momi Resort, the Apollo Pacific Hospital and others who are facing problems in getting their projects off the ground are soon expected to have their problems ironed out.

Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, says a high powered facilitation committee will be set up to look into the numerous complaints made to him by investors.

Fijilive reports that the committee has been set up with the objective of ensuring that large investment projects are implemented on a timely basis.

The committee will comprise of chief executive officers and heads of departments of various government agencies and ministries.
