A meeting of the board of Fiji's Native Lands Trust Board chaired by President Iloilo has confirmed that its general manager, Kalivati Bakani, and strategic manager, Mojito Mua, should remain suspended.

The board also approved an audit of the NLTB's 10-million US dollar computer system bought two years ago which is reported to have failed to perform up to expectations.

The NLTB bought the SAP computer system from Pacific Connex which is owned by businessman Ballu Khan who has been the subject of a military investigation after the December 5th takeover.

The board has deferred a decision on the dissolution of the NLTB's business arm, Vanua Development Corporation, announced by Commodore Frank Bainimarama last month.

The interim minister for Fijian affairs, Ratu Epeli Ganilau, says the NLTB board will meet again on April 26th to finalise the future of the two top managers and review the computer audit report.
