Mental health remains a low priority in many Pacific Island countries, according to a study carried out by the Foundation of the People's of the South Pacific, or FSPI.

This has been revealed at the Pacific health ministers meeting currently underway in Port Vila.

The delegates have been told that stakeholders must ensure that mental health becomes a regional priority.

The executive director of FSPI, Rex Horoi, says to ensure a healthy Pacific community the people have to make mental health their business.
