Police have issued arrest warrants for 16 cannery employees in American Samoa in connection with a wahoo scam.
The Samoa News reports 16 employees of COS Samoa Packing were allegedly involved in selling tuna cans that were fraudulently mislabeled and being sold in local stores as genuine wahoo products.
Police say 12 suspects have been arrested and will appear before the district court today.
