Cook Islander placed in charge of Warriors Under 20 side

The former Kiwi international and Cook Islander Tony Iro has been appointed as coach of the Warriors under 20 side with the National Rugby League age grade competition starting next year.

Iro's professional career erupted under the leadership of coach Graham Lowe at Wigan in the late 1980's where his brother Kevin also played.

Iro played 24 tests for the Kiwis and 184 first grade games with his other clubs being the Roosters, and Hunter in the 1997 Super league, Adelaide and finally South Sydney.

And the Warriors foundation captain Dean Bell has has been appointed as the club's community and development manager and will take up the role in August.
