The Fiji police say they will wrap up their investigations into the death of 19-year-old Sakiusa Rabaka by next week.

The Director Professional Standards, Senior Superintendent Jahir Khan, has told the Fijilive website that they have been given the go-ahead to question the six soldiers implicated in the teenager's death.

This comes five weeks after police said they would question them.

Despite the prolonged refusal by the military to allow police to pursue the probe, Superintendent Khan says the military is cooperating very well to ensure that police get everything needed in this investigation
