Samoa gets further funding in millions from the Chinese government

The Samoa government has received more aid assistance from China.

The announcement was made during yesterday's talks between prime minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, and Changchun Li, one of the nine top members of the Communist party of China or CPC.

Mr Li is in Samoa for a two day visit with a 53 member delegation from the Chinese government where he handed over the renovation works of Apia park stadium funded by his country at a cost of more than 9 million US Dollars.

He also announced a further grant of more than 2 million US Dollars for the Samoan government.
