A former Samoan boxing champion and international business entrepreneur has bought the Hotel Kitano Samoa for 5.4 million US dollars.
The Samoa Observer reports that Eneliko Smith plans to spend the same amount or more in improvements and additions in order to set a new standard for hotels in the South Pacific.
Mr Smith owns a hotel management company Rogue Hospitality and has hotel projects in different countries, including the US, Macau, China, Canada, Switzerland and France.
