Finalists found at the Under 19 world champs in Ireland

The New Zealand Under 19 rugby union side has booked a place in the final at the International Rugby Board world championships in Ireland after beating Wales 36-12 at Ravenshill.

They scored four tries to none, first five Trent Renata clocking up 16 points with a try, four penalties and two conversions.

The captain Winston Stanley, Jackson Willison, and Zach Guildford added a try apiece.

New Zealand led 23-9 at halftime, and will now play South Africa, who beat the defending champions Australia 32-18 in an earlier match.

And France bounced back from missing out on the semi finals by beating Samoa 35-13 in their Division A match at Deramore, Belfast.

France will now play England in the fifth place playoff, whilst Samoa play Argentina for seventh place.

Scotland recorded their first victory in Division A with an 11-7 win over Fiji who had beaten them 25-23 in the last round of pool matches.
