Typhoid claims another life in Fiji

The outbreak of typhoid in Fiji has claimed another life.

The General Manager of Community Health, Western Division, Doctor Tharid Ali, has confirmed that a 48 year old woman of Raiwasa Village died over the weekend.

Doctor Ali told Fiji Village that others from the same village who are also suffering typhoid, have been admitted to the hospital.

A total of 88 people are now suffering from typhoid from the western, southern and northern division.
