The Fiji soccer side has been invited to participate in the inaugural Commonwealth Nations Challenge Cup or CNCC which will kick off in Tanzania, Eastern Africa, in late June.

The tournament was originally supposed to be held in Uganda, however, it was shifted because most of the hotel rooms have been pre booked for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting which will be held there.

The National coach Juan Carlos Buzzetti told the Fiji Times newspaper that the Fiji team would need to tour outside the region in a bid to prepare for the South Pacific Games in Samoa.

He says its now established links with keen supporters in the United States.
