The Forum Review team to review the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands says its aim is to listen intently to the views of all stakeholders.

Fiji's deposed foreign minister, Kaliopate Tavola, who is leading the review team, says it will be done in two phases.

The second phase will be carried out in early June when a bigger team with comprehensive expertise will be brought in.

Mr Tavola says they have come to the Solomons with a benchmark; to respect the constitution of the country; RAMSI; views of the people, and the regional initiative of the Biketawa declaration.

He says there has been a lot of improvement in relations between RAMSI and Government and the review will try to build on an arrangement which is acceptable to all stakeholders in the mission.
