Warriors 4th after miracle comeback against Rabbitohs

The Warriors are third equal on points in the National Rugby League after their miracle comeback to beat South Sydney Rabbitohs 18-16 with two tries in the last three minutes yesterday in Sydney.

The Warriors would claim justice was done having had two tries ruled out by the video referee, amid mounting concern among coaches about the new obstruction rule being applied this season.

It's become so controversial the referees boss has asked all coaches for their opinions on the new rule, and the NRL is considering taking the extraordinary step of changing a rule mid-season.

The Warriors' coach Ivan Cleary says video referees appear to be looking for ways to make no try rulings, despite the NRL laws stating the benefit of the doubt should go to the tryscorer.

Melbourne moved to the top of the table as the only unbeaten team, two points clear of Manly, with the North Queensland Cowboys and the Warriors another two points back sharing third place.
