More fake notes have surfaced in Fiji.

The Fiji Times says this week two 50 dollar bills, believed to be fake, were discovered in two different incidents.

In the first incident, a security officer discovered what is believed to be a fake note while counting the day's taking of a supermarket in Ba.

In the other incident, in Suva, a forestry officer discovered a fake $50 note while receiving payment from a timber company.

Two weeks ago, a teller at a Suva bank also disovered a fake bill being deposited by a customer.

Police investigations are continuing.
