10:13 am on 9 May 2007

Team New Zealand did it differently this morning, coming from behind to beat Sweden's Victory Challenge and remain unbeaten on the second to last day of round robin two for Americas Cup challengers off Valencia.

NZL 92 overcame a three boat length deficit after a bad start to win by a comfortable 34 seconds, eliminating the Swedes from the semi-final race, and confirming Desafio Espanol as the fourth semi-finalist.

In the closest race of the day Luna Rossa beat the other Italian boat Plus 39 by only 7 seconds.

Team New Zealand remain a point behind Oracle who beat Spain by 55 seconds, and the two leaders meet in tomorrow's final round to determine the top qualifier for the semi-finals.

Winds of 8-12 knots are forecast for the final round.
