A jointly organised Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and United Nations Development Program workshop on labour mobility is being held in Fiji.
Three funded participants from relevant authorities are to attend the three-day workshop which was mandated by the Forum Trade Ministers' Meeting last June.
The objective of the workshop is to discuss with national stakeholders and various regional and international organisations the prospects for negotiating arrangements for movement of people.
The workshop is expected to provide recommendations to the Pacific ACP Trade officials and Ministers Meeting that will take place next week.
