Super 14 players well represented in Manu Samoa squad for Pacifc Cup

Manu Samoa rugby coach, Michael Jones, has named his first squad of the season to prepare for the opening Pacific Nations Cup match against Fiji this Sunday in Apia.

Among the 16 overseas based players in the 25-strong squad are several Super 14 players from New Zealand.

Leading the pack is Hurricanes front rower - Mahonri Schwalger, Highlanders second rowers Kane Thomson and Filipo Levi and Hurricanes wing Lome Faatau.

Former New Zealand based players Loki Crichton and Steven So'oialo along with bone crunching tackler evergreen Brian Lima are in the side.

Japan based loose forward Semo Sititi is likely to be named the captain of the side.
