Centre Ma'a Nonu has been called in to the All Blacks squad as Conrad Smith and Mils Muliaina recover from hamstring injuries.
Smith re-aggravated a hamstring strain during club rugby last weekend while Muliaina was injured in training last week.
Coach Graham Henry says both players need need time to treat their injuries but are expected to be available for selection later in the series.
He says Ma'a gives the side additional cover in the mid-field and will assemble with the squad next week.
Nonu has played 16 Tests for the All Blacks and was part of the team's European Tour last November.
The 25-year-old was called into the squad yesterday afternoon after a clearance from the All Blacks medical staff.
The Chief's Tane Tuipulotu takes Nonu's place in the Junior All Blacks squad.
