Fiji cricketers open with loss in Darwin

Fiji kicked off their ICC World Cricket Division two qualifying campaign with a 48 run loss to the Australian Indigenous XI in the first of their three practice matches.

Australian Indigenous XI Captain Ryan Bulger won the toss and elected to bat in humid conditions at Darwin's Marrara Oval, and scored 264 runs in 48 overs.

In reply Fiji managed to score 206 for 9 with Iliesa Navatu hitting 38 runs and captain Seci Tuiwai 33 runs.

Fiji plays 2 more warm-up games this week.
