Freeport boss tops US30m pay pack

The chairman of the company owning the Grasberg mine in Indonesia's Papua province is reported to have been paid more than 30 million US dollars last year.

Associated Press says an analysis shows CEOof Freeport-McMoRan, Richard C. Adkerson, received compensation valued at 24.6 million dollars.

Freeport operates the Grasberg mine, one of the world's largest sources of precious metals in Papua.
