Amalgamated Telecom Holdings of Fiji is to invest 47-million US dollars in the current financial year to March 2008.
Of the amount almost 26-million dollars would go on upgrading Telecom Fiji/s national network to increase capacity and accommodate new services.
21-million would be spent on extending and upgrading Vodaphone Fiji's cellular mobile network
ATH's acting chief executive, Tomasi Vakatora, says the investment is a clear sign of the company's commitment to Fiji as it comes on top of the 180-million it has spent since 1998.
