The Solomon Islands Government is to launch a small business finance scheme on Friday to bolster the economic recovery in rural areas.
The scheme will provide loans for people wanting to start up small businesses in rural areas.
It will be run by the Central Bank and administered by the ANZ Bank.
The government is putting 1.4 million US dollars into the scheme.
