Another Fijian security guard has been killed in a roadside bombing by insurgents in Iraq.

The Fiji Times reports the victim was Arthur Small, who was in his 40s, who died in an explosion in Baghdad on Saturday.

His wife, Losalini Small, who lives in the United States, said her husband was working for an American contractor after recently switching jobs from another employer and was driving US troops.

Her son, Semi Small, who lives in Fiji, says his father had been working in Iraq for three years.

Another report says two more Fijians may have died in the explosion but this could not be confirmed.

A total of 14 Fijians are reported to have been killed in Iraq while many have been injured, some very seriously
