New Zealand foreign minister starts three-nation Pacifc tour

The New Zealand foreign minister, Winston Peters, is to meet the Solomon

Islands prime minister, Manasseh Sogavare, today at the start of a

three-nation Pacific tour.

Mr Peters is also scheduled to visit the Marshall Islands and Samoa as he

heads a 60-strong New Zealand delegation on a six-day tour.

Most political parties are represented by the 11 members of parliament

joining the mission.
