The Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands has issued a statement to congratulate Kiribati on its national day.
RAMSI says Kiribati has shown a strong commitment to the Solomons and RAMSI even though it has a small population and a small police force.
RAMSI's Acting Special Coordinator, Jonathan Austin, has thanked Kiribati for its valuable work in helping the Solomon Islands be a safe, well-governed and prosperous nation.
Two Kiribati police officers are currently in mission working to build the capacity of the Solomon Islands Police Force.
