9:34 am on 13 July 2007

Samoa's Ministry of Police and Prisons is to send two more contingents of police peace keepers to Sudan and Liberia this month despite previous reports of two other police peace keepers who were sent home because of sexual allegations against them.

Eight police including a woman officer will be deployed to Sudan.

Two other police officers will be sent to Liberia.

The two groups will be working under the United Nations Peace Keeping mission.
