Fiji could be looking at making over 7 million US dollars in revenue from the South Pacific and the World Hobie Cat Championships later this year.
Events Organiser Robin Mitchell says he is basing the figure on early projections on the expected number of visitors to be in Fiji during the two events.
Dr Mitchell says the organising committee is thankful to the government for providing $100,000 grant to help in them organizing the events.
