American Samoa government keeps door open for Games funding

There's still a possibility for individual sports associations in American Samoa to get government funding assistance for next month's South Pacific Games.

Initially Governor Togiola Tulafono had not been prepared to invest in some sports who he thought had left their preparations too late.

The Governor says assistance should be given to teams which have been serious about their training and preparations and the Games isn't a junket.
