Court hearings at a judicial complex in Saipan were disrupted for over an hour yesterday afternoon due to a bomb threat received by a staff member.
The Saipan Tribune reports that judges and employees vacated the judicial building in Saipan's Susupe County at 1:45pm shortly after an employee at the Adult Probation Office informed the court marshals that she received a bomb threat from a male caller.
Judges and employees gathered at the parking lot as police officers and two K-9 dogs searched the entire building and the premises.
Police did not find a bomb and judges and employees were allowed to re-enter the building.
