Fiji Football Association vice-president Rajesh Patel has been appointed as a member of the world governing body FIFA Internal Audit Committee.
Patel is in the seven member committee for the next term in office.
Patel, elected as vice president of Fiji FA in 2005, expressed gratitude to FIFA for the appointment.
The Internal Audit Committee is tasked to ensure the completeness and reliability of the financial accounting and review the external auditors' report at the request of the FIFA Executive Committee.
