Hundreds of descendants and heirs of Malietoa Taimalelagi Natuitasina, living in Samoa and around the world are expected to attend the first ever discussion of the court case in which the bestowal of the paramount title on Papali'i Fa'amausili Moli, the son of the late Malietoa Tanumafili II, will be challenged.
This will allow everyone related to the paramount title to file petitions for or against the decision.
The same practice applies to the bestowal of any new matai title.
