The Westpac Bank in Samoa has offered around 70 thousand US dollars, to sponsor the development of rugby union in the country over the next four years.
The financial backing makes the Westpac the major sponsor and banking partner of the Samoa Rugby Union.
The head of Westpac's consumer and business banking, Jason Green, says in turn, the rugby union will provide Westpac with various promotional opportunities, including a hyperlink on the SRU official website which is currently being developed.
