New Caledonia has passed through the 50 barrier in the gold medal stakes at the South Pacific Games.
The medal pace setter has 54 gold and 135 medals all up as two of the Games heavyweight sports, netball and sevens divvied out its spoils.
Papua New Guinea has 23 gold, swimmer Ryan Pini collecting a record eight in the pool, while Samoa lies third just one gold behind.
PNG has 45 medals while Samoa has 67 with 20 silver and 25 bronze as well.
Tahiti and Fiji round out the top five medal countries.
