The rugby sevens wrapped up at the weekend with Fiji taking gold at the South Pacific Games in Samoa.

They beat hosts Samoa 27-19 after leading 19 - five at halftime.

But team manager Alifereti Cawanibuca says it wasn't an easy win as traditionally Samoa offer a stern test.

But he told his team to have faith in the preparation they had done back in Fiji.

Papua New Guinea won the bronze with a 31-5 win against the Solomon Islands.
