Samoa has lost prop Donald Kerslake to injury and could also be without lock Filipo Levi after Rugby World Cup warm-up games against two English club sides.

The IRB website says Kerslake broke ribs in a game against Northampton and has already gone home.

It reports Levi is currently in hospital in London after fracturing his eye socket in a game against Sale.

Team management is unsure if Levi would recover in time to rejoin his team-mates, who arrived in Paris last Friday.

Samoa's first match is against South Africa in Pool A next Sunday at the Parc des Princes in Paris.
