The resumption of action at the 13th South Pacific Games has left the order of the top ten medal countries unchanged.

Day seven resulted in New Caledonia maintaining its pace from last week, adding 7 more gold to stretch out to 61 gold and 148 medals all up.

In terms of gold that's 37 better than nearest rival Papua New Guinea, who gained one further gold, while New Caledonia has over three times as many medals of all denominations than PNG

Host Samoa is still third, one gold back on PNG, with 23.

Tahiti, with 21 gold, and Fiji round out the top five countries.

Nauru, Palau, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Tonga make up the top ten
