Tonga rugby coach says two wins a major achievement

11:11 am on 17 September 2007

Tonga head coach, Quddus Fielea, says he's not in a position to rate this morning's 19-15 Rugby World Cup win against Samoa in France.

Fielea says its up to the rugby community back home to make that judgment but to have won two games in the world cup is a major achievement.

Tonga is now second in its pool and will eye its final pool game against England as its big chance to push into the quarterfinals.

Tonga will play pool leader south africa this weekend.

After a red and yellow card, Tonga had to play with 13 men for the last four minutes of the game and Fielea says a big prayer before the game was probably the secret for getting through that challenge

Captain, Nili Latu, has defended the ill discipline saying it's not what Tonga's all about and the red card and two yellow cards in the game were results of desperation
