The government in American Samoa is working with off-island universities to establish two cohort programmes allowing government employees to continue to work while taking necessary classes to earn degrees.
Cohort programmes allow a U.S. university to partner the government to set up on- island degree courses where students takes classes locally at the American Samoa Community College instead of attending classes off-island.
