The Samoa for Missions conference which will be held next week has reawakened memories of the struggle and sacrifices made by the first missionaries from American Samoa who were sent out to spread the gospel in Pacific countires.
More than 150 off island delegates are confirmed to attend the missionaries conference which will begin at Kananafou on Tuesday.
Rev. Faatui Laolagi one of the organizers was particularly pleased that descendants of the early missionaries from American Samoa have stepped forward.
