Palau has opened a Trade Commission office in Malaysia.

The office will seek foreign investment from Malaysia, explore joint business opportunities between Palauan and Malaysian partners and facilitate trade between the two countries.

Palau is looking for investors to develop fishing, aqua-culture, agriculture, banking, insurance, telecommunications, oil and gas, solar energy and tourism related projects.

Palau is also seeking opportunities for Palauan citizens to further their education and for Palauan citizens to utilize Malaysian medical facilities.

A resolution establishing the States of Palau Trade Commission Office appointed Lord Morris Davidson as High Commissioner for a term of five years.
