Fiji's interim government has lifted a three-month old travel ban placed on the former chief executive officer of the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Limited, Francis Herman.

Mr Herman was stopped from leaving for Australia in July after allegations of abuse of office were made with the Fiji Independent Commission against Corruption.

The ban has been lifted and Mr Herman has left Fiji for Vanuatu where he is expected to start a job offered by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
